Swimming with the Pigs in our crystal clear turquoise waters on a lovely private beach and walking out onto a powder white sand bar in the middle of the bay is my greatest new activity for visitors and residents alike. No need to travel to Exuma!!!!
On this tour we will first visit all the highlights in the city of Freeport such as the native Farmers Market and Lighthouse Industries.
At Lighthouse Industries they make Bahamian Rum Cake, Christmas ornaments made out of our local starfish, sand dollars and sea biscuits as well as local sponges with fragrant soaps and candles with our seashells and sand from our beaches.
We head West for the Swimming with The Pigs tour which starts at noon and ends at approx. 2pm. After which we travel into West End, the oldest settlement on Grand Bahama. You can try local Conch Salad and Fritters sitting on the bay and enjoy a cool tropical drink on the beach at Old Bahama Bay.
