For all you Nature Lovers! Enjoy the most beautiful beaches on Grand Bahama.
We first visit the Bahamian Brewery, where we make several different types of beer and two types of radlers.
We then tour The Bahamas Distilling Company, where you learn how we make several types of rum and gin. You get to sample and taste everything that they produce.
We then go to the Open Air’s Farmers Market, where you can purchase your local souvenirs to take home with you. Here, you can also sample our local famous native dish ‘conch fritters’, the best on Grand Bahama.
After which, we then visit the Lucayan National Park which has one of the longest explored and chartered underwater cavern systems in the world. There are two caves here, that we will explore, Ben’s Cave and Burial Mound. We will have our Bahamian picnic lunch on the beautiful Gold Rock Beach, which consists of Bahamian local homemade bread with various meats to make our own sandwiches, with a scrumptious homemade dessert to follow. I also make my special version of Bahama Mamas with natural fresh fruit juices and two different types of rum for those of you who enjoy a fabulous cocktail on the most spectacular beach.
In addition, we will call on several native settlements, each with its own unique sites and cultural experiences.
We will visit High Rock, home of the famous Lighthouse Chapel and enjoy a cool refreshing drink at Bishop’s. Bishop is the most renowned character in the settlement of High Rock. This is the perfect way to end the most magical day of exploring our magnificent beaches in East End, Grand Bahama.
