Hida’s Mission: To create lasting memories of unforgettable island experiences for all visitors.

Hida is not “The Big Bus”. She has chosen to remain small and completely personal to provide you with her undivided attention. She wants to share the beauty of her islands with all those persons she comes in contact with, building special relationships and friendships.

Hida is a fully certified and accredited Bahamahost fluent in English, French and Spanish.

Hida has spent many years in the South of France where she studied French whilst working on private, luxury mega yachts as cook/stewardess travelling throughout the Mediterranean.

Upon her return to the Bahamas, namely Grand Bahama, she has worked primarily in the Tourism sector with the Grand Bahama Island Promotion Board as well as the major hotels on the island.

Hida is fortunate to be the product of a South American/Bahamian marriage. As a child, she regularly visited Colombia, her mother’s birthplace, spending most of her childhood summers there with family. She is very fond of travel having spent many years living and working in other countries.

Her experience in travel has helped her to formulate interesting, educational as well as entertaining day trips for her clients. Her private charters to the Family Islands are customized and tailor-made to suit the group.
